Singer and actress Ashlee Simpson was crowned the champion of The Masked Singer Season 14 during Wednesday night’s finale, ending her run as the intergalactic character Galaxy Girl. Simpson secured the Golden Mask Trophy after a final competitive round that saw the unmasking of the season's three remaining contestants.
Galaxy Girl defeats The Mime and The Scarecrow in the final round
The season finale narrowed the competition down to three finalists: Galaxy Girl, The Mime, and The Scarecrow. Simpson’s victory as Galaxy Girl followed a final performance that outlasted the runner-up, The Mime.
Before the winner was announced, The Scarecrow was the first to be eliminated in the episode, finishing in third place. Each of the finalists had maintained their secret identities through weeks of themed performances and clue packages before the final reveals took place on the Fox stage.

Final unmaskings reveal a mix of music and screen veterans
The unmasking process confirmed several long-standing theories held by the panel and viewers. Behind the mask of the runner-up, The Mime, was actor and singer Darren Criss. The third-place finisher, The Scarecrow, was revealed to be actress Neve Campbell.
Following her win, Simpson performed a final song without her mask. Her time on the show was marked by clues referencing her early 2000s music career and her high-profile family connections, which the judging panel had correctly pieced together in the final moments of the episode.

Season 14 concludes with Simpson joining the winner's circle
Simpson joins a roster of past winners in the long-running reality competition. The Season 14 finale focused on the culmination of the "Group" format used throughout the spring cycle, where Simpson emerged as the frontrunner from the initial brackets.
With the trophy awarded and all identities confirmed, the series concludes its current run. The network has not yet provided specific production timelines for a subsequent season, though the show remains a staple of the Fox alternative programming lineup.
